There are many ways to receive and watch UK TV in Spain, with a direct from satellite option via Freesat or Sky TV being the favoured option.

However, with the changes from the old Astra 2 satellites to the new Astra 2 satellites, some areas of Spain have found their reception of UK TV in Spain by satellite has been reduced, as the satellite signals are much weaker then they used to be.

For some areas of Spain, like the Valencia and Costa Blanca areas, UK Satellite TV reception has never been as good as it is now.

The main alternate method of receiving UK TV in Spain is via the internet and IPTV.

There are subscription free IPTV services such as FILMON, used by Android TV boxes and Kodi loaded Brit TV boxes, which although free, quality and reliability can very a lot, and the menu interface can be confusing even for the most competent of users.

Then there are subscription based IPTV services, using dedicated servers with a MAG250 IPTV boxes, which offer better quality images, reliability and all round user experience.

Another method of receiving UK TV using the internet is by using a UK TV Router and UK VPN service to access the online catchup services like BBC iPlayer, ITV Hub, All4, Demand Five, Sky On Demand and SkyGo.

There is also a satellite alternative, called BBC SATBACK transmitted from the Intelsat 907 satellites at 27.5 west, which does require you to illegally hacking in to an encrypted satellite feeds using encryption key codes found on the internet.
