Alcalalí is a municipality of Valencia, Spain, located in the northeast of the province of Alicante, in the comarca of Marina Alta, in the Valle de Pop. It is located in the Pop Valley, between the Sierra del Ferrer and Seguili Mountains.

It can be accessed by leaving the A-7 in Benissa, crossing Jalón or Ondara across Pedreguer and also on the road from Pego to Callosa de Ensarriá.

The municipality is located between Mount Seguili, Carrascal and Rates and Aixa, forming a natural landscape which is both extraordinary and beautiful.

The origins of life in the municipal district of Alcalali date back to prehistoric times, proven by the discovery of a cave painting in the Seguilli cove. Important remains were left on this land by the Moors. The Moors lived in the town of Mosquera for centuries, where thirty houses and a reservoir was located around Sant Joan de Mosquera Chapel.

Its boundaries are: north, Pedreguer and Benidoleig; east, Jalón and Llíber; west, Orba, Murla and Parcent and Castell de Castells and south Tárbena.
