Hundreds of people gathered on Playa de Gandia to witness the spectacular cremà of the Falla a la Mar, the fiery finale to four days of cultural, sporting and traditional celebrations. This December edition once again brought the unmistakable spirit of the Valencian Fallas to the Mediterranean coastline, attracting both locals and visitors.

The final day began with energetic beach sports activities and a midday performance by La Mocha on Galícia Street, creating a lively atmosphere from early on. In the afternoon, the colourful Fallas parade travelled from the Marina de Gandia esplanade to Vicent Calderón Street, filling the seafront with music, traditional costumes and the vibrant Fallas spirit.

As evening arrived, a powerful night mascletà echoed across the beach, thrilling the large crowds gathered along the shoreline. Immediately afterwards came the most emotional moment of the festival: the cremà of the Fallas monument, a specially crafted piece by artist José Sanchis. Flames lit up the December sky as the statue burned, bringing this successful and well-attended edition to a dramatic close.

The event was attended by Gandia mayor José Manuel Prieto, Tourism councillor Balbina Sendra, Fallas councillor Adrià Vila, various municipal representatives, the Falleras Mayores of Gandia, and many members of the city’s Fallas community — highlighting the importance and growing popularity of this seaside celebration.

Cientos de personas se congregaron en la Playa de Gandía para presenciar la espectacular cremà de la Falla a la Mar, el vibrante broche de oro a cuatro días de celebraciones culturales, deportivas y tradicionales. Esta edición de diciembre trajo una vez más el inconfundible espíritu de las Fallas valencianas a la costa mediterránea, atrayendo tanto a locales como a visitantes.

El último día comenzó con dinámicas actividades deportivas en la playa y la actuación al mediodía de La Mocha en la calle Galicia, creando un ambiente animado desde el primer momento. Por la tarde, el colorido desfile fallero recorrió desde la explanada de la Marina de Gandía hasta la calle Vicent Calderón, llenando el paseo marítimo de música, trajes tradicionales y el vibrante espíritu fallero.

Al caer la noche, una potente mascletà nocturna resonó en la playa, emocionando a la multitud congregada en la orilla. Inmediatamente después llegó el momento más emotivo de las fiestas: la cremà del monumento fallero, una obra especialmente elaborada por el artista José Sanchis. Las llamas iluminaron el cielo de diciembre mientras la estatua ardía, poniendo un broche de oro a esta exitosa y concurrida edición.

El evento contó con la presencia del alcalde de Gandia, José Manuel Prieto; la concejala de Turismo, Balbina Sendra; el concejal fallero, Adrià Vila; varios representantes municipales, las Falleras Mayores de Gandia y numerosos miembros de la comunidad fallera de la ciudad, lo que puso de relieve la importancia y la creciente popularidad de esta celebración costera.
