Teulada Tourist Information

Teulada is a small coastal town on Spains Costa Blanca, located 3 km north from Junction 63 of the A7 E-15 toll motorway on the N-332 coast road. It borders the municipalities of Benisa, Benitachell, Denia, Gata de Gorgos and Javea. It is the older part of the Teulada Moraira municipality that was created after its once coastal hamlet of Moraira threatened to break away after tourist development made it the greater part in the 1990s.

The town hall in the Plaza de la Constitucion was inaugurated in 1991. Setting it apart from its coastal neighbours of Calpe and further south, Benidorm, the town council passed laws limiting the height of buildings and protecting the natural pines that cover the sides of the valley leading to the costal part of the municipality, Moraira.
