HELP of Denia
HELP of Denia is a volunteer group in the Denia and district area, providing support in emergencies such as accidents, etc when medical services are involved, and we also provide support for carers. We always need volunteers prepared to help with home visits and neighbourly support. Those who have some knowledge of Spanish are particularly needed. HELP volunteers are sited in the main entrance of Denia hospital
from Monday-Friday between 11:00-14:00. Interpreters are only available through the doctors on Saturday/Sunday 10:00-16:00, and fees may be incurred during these times. Details are available at the hospital. Volunteers visit non-Spanish speaking patients in hospital on Tuesday and Friday afternoons to offer support where needed. Medical equipemnt such as walking frams, wheelchairs, cruthches, bath seats, etc are available on loan from the HELP charity shop in La Xara during opening

The Club has its own premises, the Arenal Clubhouse, located in the basement of Edificio 80, Avenida Tamarits. The Avenida runs between Barclays Bank and the Arenal and is easy to find.
