• In just one hour, over 100 l/m² were recorded — an exceptional downpour.

• At one point, 79 l/m² fell in under an hour, causing severe flooding.

• The regional weather agency raised its alert level to red (extreme risk) for the southern Valencia coast.

• Streets, roads, and rail lines were flooded, and emergency crews worked through the night to rescue stranded vehicles and clear water from low-lying areas.

En la noche del 13 de octubre de 2025, el cielo de Gandía se iluminó con la potente DANA “Alice” que desató un impresionante espectáculo de rayos y truenos. Este vídeo capturó los momentos más intensos de la tormenta: brillantes destellos que iluminaban el oscuro horizonte y profundos y retumbantes truenos que resonaban por toda la ciudad.

Durante el punto álgido de la tormenta:

Cayeron alrededor de 120 litros por metro cuadrado (l/m²) de lluvia en total.

En tan solo una hora, se registraron más de 100 l/m²: un aguacero excepcional.

En un momento dado, cayeron 79 l/m² en menos de una hora, causando graves inundaciones.

La Agencia Estatal de Meteorología elevó el nivel de alerta a rojo (riesgo extremo) para la costa sur de Valencia.

Calles, carreteras y vías férreas se inundaron, y los equipos de emergencia trabajaron durante toda la noche para rescatar vehículos varados y despejar el agua de las zonas bajas.
