On Saturday, 18 October 2025, at the port of Gandía (El Grau de Gandía) the event transformed the seaside city into one of Europe’s fastest, most scenic triathlons — with more than 1,500 athletes from around the world lining up for the challenge.

The day began inside the port of Gandía, where triathletes dove into calm, sheltered waters for the swim segment — far from waves and currents, surrounded by breakwaters and cheering spectators. After exiting the port area, the bike course headed north along the coastline through Xeraco and Tavernes de la Valldigna, turning around at El Brosquil, halfway between Tavernes and Cullera. This flat and fast route offered endless sea views and smooth roads — ideal for strong pacing.

The return leg brought competitors back along the coast before looping onto the breakwater road toward the Faro del Grau de Gandía, a stunning stretch overlooking both the port and open sea. Finally, the run course unfolded along Gandía’s lively beachfront promenade — an energetic route filled with music, supporters, and pure Mediterranean atmosphere — leading every athlete to an unforgettable finish-line celebration.

El ICAN Triathlon Gandia 2025 unió resistencia, precisión y espíritu mediterráneo en una carrera inolvidable. El sábado 18 de octubre de 2025, en el puerto de Gandía (El Grau de Gandía), el evento transformó la ciudad costera en uno de los triatlones más rápidos y espectaculares de Europa, con más de 1500 atletas de todo el mundo preparándose para el desafío.

La jornada comenzó en el puerto de Gandía, donde los triatletas se sumergieron en aguas tranquilas y resguardadas para el segmento de natación, lejos de olas y corrientes, rodeados de rompeolas y espectadores entusiastas. Tras salir de la zona portuaria, el recorrido ciclista se dirigió hacia el norte bordeando la costa, pasando por Xeraco y Tavernes de la Valldigna, girando en El Brosquil, a medio camino entre Tavernes y Cullera. Esta ruta llana y rápida ofrecía vistas panorámicas al mar y carreteras en buen estado, ideales para un ritmo rápido. La etapa de vuelta llevó a los competidores por la costa antes de tomar la carretera del rompeolas hacia el Faro del Grau de Gandía, un impresionante tramo con vistas tanto al puerto como al mar abierto. Finalmente, el recorrido a pie discurrió por el animado paseo marítimo de Gandía, un recorrido dinámico lleno de música, aficionados y un ambiente mediterráneo puro, que llevó a cada atleta a una inolvidable celebración en la meta.
