Stormy conditions recently brought rough seas and powerful waves to Dénia / Denia Marina, turning the usually calm Mediterranean harbour into a dramatic coastal scene. This video captures the changing mood of the sea along Spain’s Costa Blanca, where several days of unsettled weather created strong swells and turbulent water around the port.

The long breakwaters protect hundreds of moored sailing boats and yachts, while the surrounding promenade attracts walkers, cyclists, and visitors enjoying the sea views. During stormy weather, however, the atmosphere changes completely.

As the swell builds, the harbour entrance becomes the focus of the action. Powerful waves slam into the breakwater, creating bursts of white foam and dramatic sprays of water that rise above the wall.
