BMW Motorrad PuntApunta 2026 Arrives in Gandía
Every year, motorcycle enthusiasts from across Spain take part in one of the country’s most recognised touring events — BMW Motorrad PuntApunta 2026. In 2026, the multi-day motorcycle adventure once again crossed Spain before reaching its final destination on the Mediterranean coast in Gandía.
The arrival of hundreds of motorcycles at Gandía marina and the port area created an impressive atmosphere as riders completed the final stage of their journey. Touring bikes, adventure motorcycles, sport touring machines, and custom bikes filled the waterfront as participants celebrated the end of another successful edition of PuntApunta.
BMW Motorrad PuntApunta has become one of Spain’s best known motorcycle touring experiences. Rather than being a race, the event focuses on long-distance riding, scenic routes, rider camaraderie, and discovering different parts of Spain by motorcycle. The route changes each year, often travelling from one side of the country to the other before finishing at a major destination.
Gandía proved to be a fitting location for the finish line. Known for its beaches, marina, Mediterranean climate, and relaxed coastal atmosphere, the city has become an increasingly popular destination for tourism and events in the Valencian Community. The marina area provided a scenic setting for the final arrivals, with motorcycles parked beside yachts, waterfront restaurants, and palm-lined promenades.

The event also highlights the popularity of motorcycle touring culture in Spain. Riders participating in PuntApunta often travel hundreds or even thousands of kilometres through mountain roads, inland villages, coastal routes, and scenic countryside before reaching the final destination. The emphasis is on the experience of the journey rather than speed or competition.
One of the most striking parts of the Gandía finish area was the sheer variety of motorcycles on display. Large BMW GS adventure bikes dominated much of the event, but there were also touring motorcycles, sport touring models, custom machines, and riders arriving from many different regions of Spain.
The sound of engines echoing through the marina, combined with the Mediterranean backdrop, created a unique atmosphere that attracted both motorcycle enthusiasts and curious visitors. Riders gathered around the port area to relax, meet fellow participants, and take photos beside the waterfront after completing their cross-country journey.
Events such as BMW Motorrad PuntApunta continue to grow in popularity because they combine travel, adventure, tourism, and community. Rather than simply attending a motorcycle meet, participants experience a multi-day journey across Spain while discovering new roads and destinations along the way.
For Gandía, the arrival of PuntApunta 2026 brought a lively and energetic atmosphere to the marina and showcased the city as an attractive destination for motorcycle tourism and large-scale events on the Mediterranean coast of Spain.
