University of the 3rd Age / U3A Denia

U3A Denia is the second most northerly U3A branch on the Costa Blanca. Our inaugural meeting was on 24 January 2006. We currently have a membership of over 760, with 33 activity groups in operation

The main purpose of the U3A is to encourage lifelong learning and friendship for those no longer in full time employment by providing Educational, Recreational and Leisure activities for its members

U3A stands for the University of the Third Age. It is a self-help organisation for people no longer in full time employment. The word ‘university’ is used in the original sense of the word, ‘a community of people sharing knowledge’.
