Camping La Merced Calpe
Camping La Merced, Calpe is a category 2 campsite situated among mature Eucalyptus trees in a quiet area of Calpe. The campsite is a fifteen minute walk to the Levante beach, with bars and restaurants and entertainment along the sea front. There are supermarkets and restaurants close by and a bar on-site. Excellent shopping can be found in the main town of Calpe which is a short bus ride away. From there you can enjoy the vibrant Arenal-Bol Beach and its superb cafés and restaurants or you can venture uphill to Calpe Old Town with its historical church and ancient walls. Whilst there why not relax in a traditional bar dotted around one of the pretty plazas. Of course, a trip to Calpe is not complete without visiting the famous Peñon de Ifach (or Calpe Rock), one of the biggest attractions on the Costa Blanca, and at Camping La Merced you have the added bonus of seeing the rock from many pitches on the campsite.
