Miramar Tourist Information

Miramar is a municipality in the comarca of Safor in the Valencian Community, Spain.

Miramar is situated between Guadamar de la Safor and Piles, and near to Gandia and Oliva

Miramar, like so many towns and villages along this section of Mediterranean coastline, has two areas. The main part of the town of Miramar is situated a few kilometres from Miramar beach, where the Miramar beach area has new developments which have grown into a coastal tourist attraction.

The buildings visible from the beach, combined ancient and modern elements and are in good condition. The sand is very thin and relatively clear colour. Seawater has a beautiful turquoise and quite transparent. The surface of the beach is rather inclined. Near the beach you can eat and drink. The beach is very accessible. You can park your car directly next to the beach.
