The Gandia Correfoc is one of the most thrilling and hottest events during the Fira i Festes de Gandia in September and October. This traditional fire run features

a lively procession of “devils” and “fire dancers” that light up the night with theatrical firework explosions, sparklers, and fireworks launched into the crowd. Members, dressed in flashy devil outfits, run through the streets, creating a heart-pumping and sometimes feared atmosphere, with sparks flying all over the place.

As the procession makes its way through Gandia, the crowd goes along behind, dodging carefully as the explosions of flame go off around them and the air is loud with drums and firecrackers. Correfoc is a night not to be forgotten, a combination of excitement, music, and community.
