Falla Turística de Gandia is a special falla (large, intricate sculpture) designed specifically for Fira i Festes de Gandia to represent the town’s tourism and culture. Unlike traditional fallas

based on politics and social satire, Falla Turística tends to depict something that reflects the local culture, history, and landscape of Gandia as a call for a destination location.

The falla is typically enormous and well planned out with colorful theme motifs and color schemes to offer the locals and tourists alike. The falla is erected throughout the celebration and serves as the center of attraction for the festivity. The Cremà (burning of the falla) is held on the final night of the festivity, bringing down the fallas celebrations. Falla Turística forms an important element of Gandia’s innovative approach to treating the Fallas tradition as an artistic, cultural, and touristic synthesis in a joyful and celebratory manner.
