By October 10, the red weather warnings for parts of southeast Spain had been lifted, though amber alerts remained from the south of Tarragona down to the north of Alicante — including Gandía — with yellow warnings stretching across Valencia, Ibiza, Formentera, and parts of Majorca. The Spanish weather agency AEMET, which had named the storm, continued to track its slow, dangerous movement across the western Mediterranean.

Flights were cancelled, evacuations took place in Murcia, and total rainfall in some areas exceeded 250–300 mm (10–12 inches). In Gandía, flooding struck low-lying streets and beachfront areas, while strong onshore winds sent waves crashing over the promenade.

Meteorologists linked Alice to a DANA — Depresión Aislada en Niveles Altos — a phenomenon known for producing extreme, slow-moving downpours. More rain was forecast through the weekend, keeping the coast on alert until the storm finally moved away on October 12.

La habitualmente tranquila Playa de Gandía se transformó a principios de octubre de 2025 con la llegada de la borrasca Alice, el potente sistema meteorológico que azotó la costa este de España entre el 8 y el 12 de octubre, que trajo consigo lluvias incesantes, vientos rugientes y olas imponentes. Aquí se capturó un momento surrealista en medio del caos natural: un atrevido nadador desafió la tormenta, zambulléndose en el agitado Mediterráneo mientras los relámpagos iluminaban la costa.

Para el 10 de octubre, se levantaron las alertas meteorológicas rojas para algunas zonas del sureste de España, aunque se mantuvieron las alertas ámbar desde el sur de Tarragona hasta el norte de Alicante, incluyendo Gandía, y las alertas amarillas se extendieron a Valencia, Ibiza, Formentera y partes de Mallorca. La agencia meteorológica española, AEMET, que había bautizado la borrasca, continuó rastreando su lento y peligroso movimiento por el Mediterráneo occidental.

Se cancelaron vuelos, se llevaron a cabo evacuaciones en Murcia y la precipitación total en algunas zonas superó los 250-300 mm (10-12 pulgadas).
