A must for golf lovers thanks to the 18-hole golf course, the Hotel is seen as one of the best in the world. The large comfortable rooms – some with sea views – are an invite to relaxation. Located on the coast, there is also a fantastic SPA to relax, an outdoor pool and a grass football pitch.
The Parador de El Saler (Valencia) Golf course is considered by professionals, amateurs, institutions and the specialized press alike to have one of the best course layouts in the world.
Built in 1968 by the internationally recognized “architect of Spanish golf,” Javier Arana, the course is located in the El Saler Nature Reserve, on the shores of the Mediterranean sea in the Autonomous Community of Valencia. This Community is a leader with respect to economic development in Spain, and considers this course a source of pride.
The courses design took into account its integration in the protected landscape (with native plants such as the famous pale stonecrop plant, locally called “cat’s claw”). The course layout is varied, ranging from the beach links reminiscent of the famous Scottish golf courses, to areas of typical Mediterranean forest. The par-72 course measures 6468 m, spread out over 18 holes.
The club also offers a golf school; driving range; putting greens; 2 approach greens; a pro-shop; rental of clubs, hand carts and electric golf carts; and a restaurant and snack bar.
The Parador de El Saler (Valencia) golf course is considered one of the 60 best in the world and one of the 3 best in Europe – a view which is vouched for in testimonies from both professional and amateur players, institutions and the specialized press.
The European PGA has chosen the El Saler course as the site of several of its qualifying tournaments for the professional PGA European Tour, a clear recognition of the quality demanded by the highest level of professional golf.
The Parador de El Saler (Valencia) golf course successfully passed previous inspections by the PGA-USA and PGA-Europe, carried out for the pre-selection of golf courses at which to hold the prestigious Ryder Cup, which, for the first time, was held away from its traditional sites in the United States and Great Britain.
The Royal Golf Federation of Spain has, over the years, selected the El Saler course to hold tournaments for both Spanish professionals and amateurs under its auspices.

The Manises Golf Club is the oldest of the Valencian clubs. It is a 9-hole course, whose flat layout requires precision and constancy because the fairways are narrow and flanked by dense trees, and the greens are small and surrounded by numerous bunkers, with limited room to manoeuvre on the approach and a lot of rough.
The important thing to remember all the way around is not to lose sight of the straight line. You also have to bear in mind the difficulty which exists when coming off the fairways.
The 7th hole, a very long par-4, is especially worth mentioning as is the fairway of the 3rd, where the second shot – if you manage to clear a group of tall pine trees – can reach the green and allow you to go for a well-deserved birdie.

The location of the course at the foot of a mountain is without a doubt the spot in which Robert Trent Jones Snr. was inspired in terms of the design of the course. Surrounded by Mediterranean vegetation, the prestigious designer took advantage of the location in order to add beauty and movement to the 18 freeways of the course.
He also managed to combine perfectly the sloping freeways with water obstacles and 90 sand traps. The bunkers are strategically positioned at the end of the freeway and surrounding the entrance of each green. The greens are extremely fast and demanding and are on ground level.
For this reason the “El Bosque” club, with a par 72 and 6249 metres of longitude, is considered an ideal course for hosting high level competitions. The course is a technical journey where the choice of the correct club is fundamental if we wish the end result to be a success.
18 Holes, designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr.
